Badger Options - Sojourn Overland

Start with a heavy duty off-road trailer and add as many of these options as you see fit. Feel free to customize this trailer your self, have us add the options you want or buy parts / components and pre-cut kits from us. Still missing something? Well, don’t be afraid to ask. On Board Water System Options:

Option 1: One 19 gallon tank centered over the axle and protected with a 12 gauge steel skid plate. Comes with a 12 volt pump and one quick connect outlet mounted at the rear right corner. $1950.00 + gst.

Option 2: Two 19 gallon water tanks centered over the axle and protected with 12 gauge steel skid plate. Comes with a 12 volt water pump and one quick connect outlet mounted at the rear right corner. $2500.00 + gst

12 Volt Power System Options:

Option 1 consists of one 12 volt group 27 size AGM RV battery, complete with smart charger (110 volt with shore power wall outlet), fuse block, solar charger outlet, 3- 12 volt cigarette lighter style outlets and one USB power outlet. $1750.00 + gst.
Option 2 consists of one premium Lithium 100 Amp 12 volt battery with built in battery heater. Also includes smart charger (110 volt with shore power wall outlet), DC/DC charger (A must to fully charge the battery off the tow vehicle and protect the tow vehicle power system), fuse block, solar charger outlet, 3 – 12 volt cigarette lighter style outlets and one USB power outlet. $3200.00 + gst.

Propane Tank Options:

11 lb. tank options (empty) c/w aluminum holder. $295.00 + gst.

20 lb. tank option (empty) c/w custom trailer tongue mounted holder. $350.00 + gst.

Roll Out Kitchen Options:

Option 1: A single full length (4 foot) slide divides the 4 foot rear storage area in half. This slide is mounted on super heavy (550 lb. rated) full extension glides. This provides a large (22″ x 48″) work counter which we cover in solid surface Corian type material. Below the work counter on the passenger side is a large storage box (with door) and a good sized drawer at the rear. Below the drawer at the rear is another slide-out opening to the rear. This stainless steel covered slide will hold your Coleman or 22″ Cook Partner stove and give you a surface at the proper height for your cooking. On the driver side of the slide-out we have an additional counter which is stored in the rear door. We have found that with this design there is great access on all sides. Also designing to have everything at a comfortable height is quite the challenge. Slide out Kitchen $3250.00 + gst.

Cooler Slide Options:

Option 1: Side Slide Cooler Tray with 300lb rated glides to hold a variety of coolers and electric fridges. $750.00 + gst
Option 2: Side Slide Cooler Tray Kit. Comes with pre-cut drawer, solid poplar frame pieces to attach glides to and 300 lb rated glides. You get to build, finish and install. $450.00 + gst

Camp work lights. Need to light up the camp? Add one or more LED spot lights off the corner of the upper rack system. When you add the optional power system, there is a 12 volt outlet on the right rear corner to plug your spot light into. $100.00 each + gst.

Electric Brakes. Here in Alberta, Canada, if your trailer weight exceeds 50% of the tow vehicles weight, then trailer brakes are required by law. Please check your local rules of the road to confirm, and if in doubt, they might just be a good idea! Installed at time of build $750.00 + gst.

Front Storage Options:

Mesh Tray (12 gauge, powder coated steel, custom welded tray that fits the front of the trailer frame with mesh bottom) $650.00 + gst

Upper rack systems:

Option 1: Standard Upper Racks system consists of four corner posts and four cross members. Custom made using aluminum, this rack is designed keeping versatility in mind. With the lower tent configuration, this rack would be used to transport kayaks, bikes, a canoe, boat, lumber… When used with a roof top tent on the standard roof racks (that come with every overland trailer unless specified), the cargo must be removed in order to set up the tent. After removing the cargo, one side piece is removed to facilitate tent set up. This rack can also be used to hold the tent with the option of installing a tray below it, rather than the standard roof rack. This tray would then hold more cargo and would not have to be emptied to use the tent. All depends on your wants and needs. $1850.00 +gst.

Option 2: High Tent Upper Rack System consists of complete upper racks option one PLUS three movable cross bars to mount a roof top tent to. (powder coated black–shown raw aluminum per customer request) High Tent Package $2150.00 + gst.

Standard Low Rack Option: this is ordered at the time of purchase and used INSTEAD of the standard roof rack. This configuration would be useful for those who do not intend to use an RTT, but would rather use that roof space for cargo, bicycles, kayaks, etc. $0 No charge for this if indicated at time of order!

Awning mount on upper rack system. Our upper rack is designed for mounting an optional awning. Made of solid aluminum, these brackets can be used on either side, rear or front. one pair $100.00 + gst.
